We’ve all heard the saying: Drive for show, putt for dough. Well since I can’t bomb it, I might as well learn how to putt. My goal is to throw 10,000 practice putts by the end of August. This series will track how/if I improve and see if I can ever be a decent putter.
The Tana backpack by Fossa is the first disc golf backpack I’ve ever owned. I thought the quality and construction looked pretty good and with a price tag of $100, I knew I wasn’t getting a top of the line bag but I figured it would be something that could last me a little while. Here are my first impressions of the bag so you can decide if it’s something you’d like to get yourself.
I got to participate in my first ever event since I started playing disc golf last summer. I’ve thought about joining some tournaments this year but I don’t think my game is quite there yet. So I figured I’d try out a Trilogy Challenge that way at least everyone has to use the same discs and it levels the playing field a bit.
When I put together the new fantasydg website, I knew that I needed to spice up the logo a bit. Fortunately, I found Jason Baston’s artwork on twitter, reached out to him, and he was gracious enough to make the logo for the new site. I was able to ask him some questions about him, disc golf, and his art. To see more of his artwork, check out his website at www.flickr.com/photos/jayscartoons and you can contact Jason at firstname.lastname@example.org.
